We have a program for you!
Whether you join us in January at the Statehouse to reflect and remember the US Supreme Court's sweeping decision that legalized abortion on demand in all fifty states, Roe V Wade, on its anniversary; pray with us at Planned Parenthood either with our Sidewalk Counselors throughout the year or in vigil during 40 Days for Life in the Spring & Fall; use our Faithful at the End of Life documents to help put your affairs in order; host or attend an educational presentation at your church; visit the Memorial of the Unborn; or educate yourself using our Abortion Rate Project.
Sidewalk MinistryAt GCRTL, we run a successful Sidewalk Ministry program. In our program, we train volunteers to be present on the sidewalk outside of local abortion clinics to offer prayer and compassionate education about choices in an effort to save unborn lives and protect abortion-minded women from abortion. Sidewalk Ministry Members are trained to help potential abortion facility customers find better healthcare alternatives and support options - pointing women toward local pregnancy centers, abortion pill reversal, and post abortion healing resources. We have witnessed firsthand the power in sidewalk advocacy. Numerous former abortionists call sidewalk counseling the most effective method for saving lives and ending abortion. Locally, counselors have witnessed hundreds of women leaving the clinic and choosing life.
Faithful at the End of LifeAt GCRTL, we believe that being pro-life means protecting the dignity of the human person at the end of life. That is why we have written and compiled a comprehensive resource that combines faith based information on bioethics and medical decision-making with a standard form Health Care Power of Attorney and other resources. We first published “Faithful at the End of Life: Pro-Life Medical Directives” in 2020 and now have both a Catholic and General version of the curriculum. To ensure that every member of the pro-life faithful has advance medical directives that conform to his or her values, we work to provide this program to individuals and attorneys at no cost.
40 Days for LifeAt GCRTL, we run two 40 Days for Life Campaigns each year. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign that takes place every spring, from Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday, and every fall from the last Wednesday in September until the first Sunday in November. During our Campaigns, we invite churches and individuals to adopt a day, partial day, or hour to participate in peaceful prayer outside of a local abortion clinic - like Planned Parenthood. The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign seeking God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion. Joining 40 Days for Life is an excellent introduction to Sidewalk Ministry.

Speaker's Bureau & Community EducationAt GCRTL, we are dedicated to offering educational opportunities around our community, equipping others to stand for life. We are happy to bring a speaker to your church or group to share on pro-life topics ranging from apologetics, current events, end of life education, and much more. Reach out to schedule one of our talks or programs with your church, school, or community group at no cost.
Memorial of the UnbornAt GCRTL, we offer a powerful memorial and educational tool demonstrating the evil of abortion to groups, churches, and schools, at no cost. The program has reached about 130,000 people since 2017 and it includes a display of baby socks and booties - one for each baby who dies at the hands of abortion in a given day, week, month, or year. The program - offered as a display or as part of a presentation - includes educational materials and an optional presentation that covers local abortion statistics, post-abortion healing resources, and an invitation to get involved in pro-life activism at the local level.
Abortion Rate ProjectAt GCRTL, we work to track abortion trends yearly and deploy resources to the communities where they are most needed. Tracking shifts in abortion trends and the abortion rate from community to community can help us to understand what areas need a little more help and which areas we should look to for ideas to improve.
We publish this information yearly. Roe RemembranceEach year since 1973, GCRTL and the pro-life faithful of Ohio gather on or near the anniversary of the U.S Supreme Court’s sweeping decision the broadly legalized abortion to memorialize lives lost, pray in unity, and encourage co-laborers.
