This week, many nonprofits will participate in "Giving Tuesday" - which means that following our feasts on Thanksgiving, the hustle and bustle of Black Friday, our team winning THE Game on Saturday, and online splurges for Goodshop Sunday and Cyber Monday, we dedicate Tuesday to giving back and kickstarting the charitable giving season. About a fourth of all charitable giving is from Thanksgiving through the end of the year, and it's no wonder. It is the time of the year when we are all a little more thankful for what we have - food, warmth, shelter, and Life.
At Greater Columbus Right to Life, we'd like to encourage you to give back from your first fruits - not what is left over after you've shopped until you drop. If you've not yet given in support of our work in 2014, it isn't too late! We just need a little more help to meet our 2014 goals.
Whether you can make your most generous gift of the year, if you'd like to help in smaller ways as you shop online or at the grocery store, or if a monetary gift is not possible at this time but you are keeping us in your prayers, we are so thankful for your spiritual and financial support. May God Bless you and lead us all to a culture that embraces human life.
