Giving Tuesday: Immediate, Tangible Need

A long-time supporter and Sidewalk Ministry Member has brought it to our attention that a mom who chose life years ago and has kept in contact is experiencing a difficult financial situation and has an extraordinary need to keep her and her son in a warm, safe home.

Greater Columbus Right to Life has decided to redirect the funds that would have gone toward covering food and other supplies for the Christmas Open House to help this mom and we are inviting you to join us in this effort.

This is where the God-minute comes in. During this first week of winter, as our office heat is out and our event has to be cancelled, we have an incredible opportunity to help a mom and her son stay safe and warm by helping cover her rent in these extraordinary circumstances. If you were planning to attend the Christmas Open House, you know that we were encouraging our supporters to bring a small gift to be donated to a mom in need. Now, we have the opportunity to meet a tangible need in real-time.

This is not something we can do often, and it is above and beyond our year-end goal of raising $20,000, but we have decided to trust in God's providence and the generosity of our community.
